CGG: Sentinel HR streamer sold to AWI
(CercleFinance.com) - CGG has announced the sale by Sercel of one of its new solid high-resolution streamers, the Sentinel HR, to the Institut Alfred Wegener (AWI), a research centre that is specialised in polar and marine research in the Arctic and Antarctic.
Launched in 2017, the Sentinel HR is the latest member of the family of Sercel solid streamers. It is designed to image geological targets at low depths, with high-resolution 3D studies.
AWI has also acquired two additional Sercel software packages to optimise the detection of marine mammals during seismic acquisition operations: the integrated navigation system SeaPro Nav and passive acoustic monitoring system QuietSea (PAM).
