CGG: agreement for promotion of blocks in Cameroon
(CercleFinance.com) - CGG has announced an agreement with the Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH) of Cameroon for the promotion of eight free marine and terrestrial blocks in the sedimentary basins of Rio del Rey and Douala/Kribi-Campo in Cameroon.
The promotion was officially opened on 15 January and will end on 29 June. Presentations will be held in London from 28 February to 2 March, followed by Houston from 7 to 9 March, with the participation of specialists from SNH and CGG.
Geophysique said that there is significant potential for the discovery of new commercial deposits in both these basins, particularly in the basin of Douala Kribi-Campo, where more blocks are available.
