CGG: signs contract with Petrobras in Brazil.
(CercleFinance.com) - CGG has announced having signed a contract with Petrobras for the processing-imagery of the largest seismic study on the sea bed that has ever been acquired from nodes.
This 3D seismic sea bed study covers a total of 2180 km2 in the Santos basin in deep waters off Brazil.
All the data will be processed in CGG's processing-imagery centre of Rio de Janiero. This centre currently has the most extensive expertise and calculation capacity in the region.
