Valeo: funding from the EIB
(CercleFinance.com) - Valeo has annd that the European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a package of 600 million euros to finance its research projects carried out in Europe to reduce CO2 emissions and improve vehicle safety.
An initial loan of 300 million euros, to be paid by May 2022, has just been signed. It will be dedicated to projects in the field of electrification and improvement of vehicle energy efficiency and safety.
Already in 2009, the EIB had provided a 300 million euro loan to the French automotive supplier for its research projects in the reduction of CO2 emissions and the vehicle safety.
