Valeo: to design autonomous vehicles with Meituan
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening the Valeo Group announced signing a strategic cooperation agreement in the field of autonomous last-mile delivery with Meituan, a Chinese e-commerce platform for home meal delivery services.
"Both parties will work together on autonomous delivery vehicles in the last mile scenarios," Valeo said, which will provide expertise and provide components, including electrical drive systems, lighting and thermal management and sensors.
