Valeo: renews takeover bid on FTE.
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Friday Valeo reported that it had formally renewed its request to acquire FTE with the European Commission, subject to the approval of its plan to sell the French automotive supplier's "passive hydraulic actuators" activities to the Italian group Raicam.
This planned disposal is also subject to consultation with social partners and committees.
Remember that last November Valeo suffered from Brussels' reserves about the compatibility of the FTE takeover with existing rules on the control of concentrations.
