Europcar: minority investment in Snappcar.
(CercleFinance.com) - Europcar Group announces a minority investment of 20% through its Lab (unit dedicated to innovation), in Snappcar, a start-up specialised in car rentals between private car owners.
With this investment, it joins the current consortium of shareholders composed of AutoBinck Group and Founders, a Danish start-up studio, which have renewed their engagement with Snappcar. The total amount of the investment is approximately 10 million euros.
As the second largest international market player in car rentals between private car owners in Europe, Snappcar has over 250,000 members who share more than 30,000 vehicles available on its platform.
