Elis: launches convertible bond issue.
(CercleFinance.com) - Today Elis announced the launch of a bond issue which is convertible into new and/or existing shares (OCEANE), maturing on 6 October 2023, with a private placement amongst institutional investors for a maximum nominal amount of 400 million euros.
The net proceeds from the offering will be used to refinance the recent acquisition of Berendsen via partial repayment of the bridge loan taken on, as well as for the company's general needs, the group said.
The unit nominal value of the bonds will result in a premium of between 38% and 42% relative to the reference price of the Elis share.
