Worldline: completes acquisition in Scandinavia
(CercleFinance.com) - Worldline has announced completing the acquisition of Handelsbanken's card acquisition activities in Scandinavia.
This new step follows the acquisition of Cardlink in Greece and the execution of a strategic partnership in merchant services with BNL in Italy.
Handelsbanken is a major acquirer in Scandinavia with over 550 million transactions acquired per year, representing a payment volume of around 20 billion euros. The company also provides services to more than 20,000 merchants, Worldline said.
