(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Thursday Elior announced the takeover of CBM Managed Services, through its North American subsidiary, Summit Food Service.
The specialist in catering and services will therefore strengthen its position in the US on the market for catering in prisons.
Present in 30 North American States, CBM Managed Services provides catering services for 350 local and State prisons. With slightly under 1,000 employees spread across 200 sites, last year the company's turnover reached around 70 million dollars.
This acquisition brings together two of the biggest caterers operating in the prison market, which together have turnover of over 230 million dollars.
