Fnac Darty: a shareholder increases stake.
(CercleFinance.com) - The German company Ceconomy AG (Benrather Stra e 18-20 - 40213 Duesseldorf, Germany) has announced that on 18 August, indirectly through Metro Vierzehnte Gesellschaft für Vermögensverwaltung mbH1, which it controls, it has increased its stake above the thresholds of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of the capital and voting rights of Fnac Darty and now indirectly holds 6,451,845 shares representing as many voting rights, i.
e. 24.33% of the retailer's capital and voting rights.
This crossing of thresholds results from the entry into force of a forward share sale agreement of Fnac Darty shares, concluded on 26 July 2017, between the companies Ceconomy AG and Metro Vierzehnte, on the one hand, and Artemis SA on the other hand, following the completion of conditions precedent set out in the disposal agreement.
