Edenred: EBIT up 14% in HY1
(CercleFinance.com) - For the first half of 2018, Edenred publishes a group share of net income of 124 million euros, compared to 123 million the previous year, with EBIT up 14% like-for-like and 4.
3% on a reported basis, to 215 million.
Total revenue comes to 665 million euros, up 10.1% like-for-like and 2.3% on a reported basis, reflecting very negative currency exchange effects (-8.2%), positive scope effects (+0.9%) and a negative impact linked to Venezuela (-0.5%).
Confident in its prospects for the second half of the financial year, the prepaid services group expects EBIT to reach between 440 and 470 million euros for the year overall, compared to 429 million euros in 2017.
