Coface: granted credit insurance license in Greece
(CercleFinance.com) - In line with its aims to grow in new high-potential markets, Coface has announced the launch of its credit insurance offer in Greece, after the Greek regulatory authorities granted a license.
The company says that consolidation of public accounts and improved fiscal credibility have enabled Greece to return to international markets. In addition, Greek companies have now become more competitive and have reduced their debts.
Xavier Durand, CEO of Coface, said, “Our Greek license extends Coface's historically strong presence in the Mediterranean and Africa region, which represented 27% of the Group's revenues in 2018.”
