Suez: contract for wastewater treatment plant in Senegal
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez yesterday announced that the Office National de l'Assainissement du Sénégal (ONAS) had awarded it - and its partner, Consortium d'Entreprises (CDE) - the design and construction of the Hann Bay wastewater treatment plant, following an international call to tender.
With a capacity of 26,000 m3/day, this wastewater treatment plant is part of the Hann Bay depollution program undertaken by the Senegalese government.
The contract was signed with ONAS, representing the Government of Senegal, for a total of 49 million euros (including 25 million euros for Suez), with financial support from AFD, Invest International of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the European Union.
