Suez: completes divestment of businesses in Sweden
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez announced late on Monday that it has completed the sale of its Recycling and Recovery activities in Sweden to PreZero, the environmental arm of the Schwarz Group.
The sale was completed for an estimated enterprise value of 3,700 million Swedish kronor, or approximately 357 million euros.
The business sold to PreZero operates around 50 sites in the country and has around 1,100 employees. In 2019, the business generated sales of approximately 2,661 million Swedish kronor (approximately 250 million euros) and posted EBITDA of approximately 358 million Swedish kronor (approximately 34 million euros).
