Suez: wins hazardous waste contract in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez announces that, as part of a joint venture, it has entered into an agreement with the City of Huaibei, in the Chinese province of Anhui, to build and operate a hazardous industrial waste treatment plant.
"Bringing sustainable solutions supportive to the local circular economy, this project will ensure the effective treatment of industrial waste, protecting the environment while fostering economic and social development," the utilities group said.
This contract will represent cumulative revenues of around 700 million euros over a 30-year period. Construction will begin in the second half of 2020. The facility's completion and commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2021.
