Suez: launches 'Suez Investissement Local'
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez and Vauban Infrastructure Partners - an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, have announced the launch of "Suez Investissement Local".
This joint venture aims to finance 500 million euros of projects by 2025, in water, wastewater and waste industries (construction or renovation of drinking water and sanitation plants, waste-to-energy plants and plants specialized in the methanation of organic waste and sewage sludge, etc.).
Suez will bear the industrial responsibility for the construction and operation of clients' infrastructure and will thus remain the established local operator and the preferred contact for local authorities.
Meanwhile, Vauban Infrastructure Partners will bring its expertise in infrastructure financing and will make long-term equity investments in these projects through its investment funds.
