Suez: Waste management for City of Belgrade
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez and its partners announce that they have taken a major step towards waste management with the City of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
Discussions with the SFI, EBRD and OeEB involve 300 million in funding for the design, construction and operation of a 103 MW waste recovery facility, as well as a demolition waste recycling unit.
These infrastructures will enable the closure of one of the largest landfills that is still in operation in Europe.
Suez will manage all the facilities under a 25-year, 400 million euro operating and maintenance contract.
