Suez: strengthens presence in Latin America
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has announced that it is strengthening its presence in the management of water services and waste for major cities, as well as services to industrialists in Latin America, having signed 19 contracts in Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Costa -Rica.
"These contracts are part of the Group's development drive in Latin America and the Caribbean, which account for 7% of its global turnover and represent over 7000 employees in 10 countries," the utilities group said.
Suez hence increases its geographical footprint by winning a first contract in Ecuador, where it has won the contract to improve drinking water distribution services for the 450,000 inhabitants of the city of Santo Domingo.
