Suez: acquires Optimatics
(CercleFinance.com) - The Suez Group announced on Monday the acquisition of Optimatics, a company that was created in Australia and which is present in the US, specialising in the optimisation of water networks.
This is not the first "contact" between the two companies: Suez had already taken a minority stake in Optimatics in 2017, alongside Emerald Technology Ventures.
"This acquisition illustrates the major digital transformation of SUEZ, its activities and service offering. The acquisition of OPTIMATICS is a key step forwards that accelerates the digitalisation of the Group's solutions and the services it offers to its customers," the group said.
