Suez: signs two contracts in Changshu, China
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez, through its joint venture Jiangsu Sino French Water, has signed a concession contract for the construction and the operation of the wastewater treatment plant of the Chengdong District, Changshu, China.
This contract is worth a total of approximately 413 million euros.
The first phase of the plant's construction will begin this year, which will enable it to treat 60,000 m3 of wastewater per day by 2021. A second phase will double the plant's capacity to 120,000 m3/day in 2023.
Through a joint venture Suez also won, the contract for the operation and maintenance of the 2,000-tonne-per-day waste processing plant in the Jianghe Tiarong District.
