Suez: strategic cooperation agreement with Rosneft
(CercleFinance.com) - This afternoon Suez and Rosneft have announced that they have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the technological development and deployment of water, wastewater and waste management programs at Rosneft's refineries and petrochemical plants.
This agreement will address wastewater pre-treatment, biological treatment, seawater desalination and its re-use, water purification by evaporation and different treatment programs for cooling water systems, Suez says.
This agreement aims to continue the collaboration between both companies. In January 2018, they commissioned a biological wastewater treatment plant at a site owned by Rosneft. This facility will treat up to 84,000 m3 of wastewater per day.
