Suez: wins contract in Netherlands.
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez reported on Tuesday early in the afternoon that the municipality of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) has been entrusted with the clean-up and rehabilitation of the Amstelkwartier district, which is found to the east of the Dutch capital.
Both parties have agreed on a 2-year contract for a total of 5 million euros which aims to accompany the Dutch capital in its project of urban renewal, by transforming the former zone of industrial activities into a new public area.
The Amstelkwartier district is an old industrial zone. As part of its approach to sustainable urban development, the municipality wants to rehabilitate this space to accommodate, over the long term, several real estate projects, businesses and offices.
