Groupama: 2019 net income reaches E345m

4 billion euros at 31 December 2019, up 1.7% compared to 31 December 2018.
"Business activity was up for property and casualty insurance (+1.1%), where the Group generated E7.4 billion in premium income at 31 December 2019, and for life and health insurance (+2.4%), with premium income reaching E6.8 billion," the group said.
Its economic operating income came in at 413 million euros at 31 December 2019, up 115 million euros (+39%) compared to 31 December 2018. Net income, group share amounted to 345 million euros at 31 December 2019, compared to 450 million euros at 31 December 2018.
