Getlink: passenger shuttle traffic down 21% in July
(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink has announced that in July 2020 its passenger shuttles transported 233,172 passenger cars, down 21% y-o-y, albeit showing a recovery from previous months.
With 123,879 trucks transported last month, Shuttle Freight traffic was down 5% y-o-y, although almost got back to normal again, boosted by increased anti-Covid-19 measures.
Since 1 January, almost 788,000 passenger cars and over 789,000 trucks have crossed the English Channel on boacd its Shuttles, representing respective falls of 46% and 16% relative to the first seven months of 2019.
