Rexel: stock up on forthcoming inclusion in CAC 40 ESG index
(CercleFinance.com) - Rexel announces that it has been selected to be included in Euronext's CAC 40 ESG index, which groups French companies in the CAC Large 60 index that demonstrate the best practices in terms of environmental, social and governance issues, as from the evening of 16 September.
The French electrical supplies distributor said that its inclusion in this index reflects its long-standing commitment to sustainable development, which is central to its strategy.
A signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since 2011, Rexel is already included in SRI indices, including FTSE4Good, Dow Jones, Sustainability Index Europe, Euronext Vigeo Europe 120 and Eurozone 120, as well as the STOXX Global ESG Environmental Leaders.
The Rexel share is up over 1% in early trading today, about double the market in Paris.
