Rexel: H1 recurrent income up 13%
(CercleFinance.com) - Rexel has published H1 2018 recurrent net income that is up 13% at 157.
7 million euros, with adjusted EBITA that is up 3.1% at 288.2 million euros, meaning a margin that is virtually stable (-5 basis points) at 4.4% of sales.
The distributor of electrical equipment saw its sales fall 1.6% to 6,555.8 million euros, although like-for-like they increased by 4.5%, including a positive 0.8% impact related to changes in the price of copper-based cables.
Rexel confirms its 2018 (like-for-like) targets for single-digit sales growth of up to 5% (constant number of days), growth in adjusted EBITA of 5% to 10%, along with an improvement in its gearing.
