Scor: growth in P&C premiums on contract renewals
(CercleFinance.com) - Scor Global P&C has announced that, in January 2018 contract renewals, it has recorded a 3.
7% growth in premiums at constant exchange rates, at 3.1 billion euros, in line with the Reinsurance Group's strategic plan, "Vision in Action".
The group adds that risk-adjusted pricing has improved by 3% from January 2017, and that expected profitability, measured in terms of both technical profitability and the return on risk-adjusted capital, increased by around 200 basis points.
"We negotiated to reduce, cancel or decline business that did not meet our hurdles without damaging our franchise," said Victor Peignet, CEO of Scor Global P&C.
