Novacyt: stock in demand after R&D update

In a statement, the Franco-British biotech company says it intends to continue to build on its reputation in the Covid testing market, while expanding its product portfolio.
The company notes that its PROmate test has been welcomed by users, a success that it believes opens up new commercial opportunities for rapid PCR tests.
The diagnostics specialist also says that it is working on a strategy to provide a sustainable long-term diagnostics business, a direction it intends to detail in the second quarter.
For the record, last year the biotech company posted the best performance in Paris, with its share price having been multiplied by over 15 times.
