ADP: in exclusive talks to develop Santa Cruz airport
(CercleFinance.com) - ADP and the Government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding for exclusive negotiations for the development and operation, over a period of 30 years, of Viru Viru International Airport in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
This is Bolivia's largest airport, with 2.9 million passengers in 2018. Viru Viru International Airport has seen its traffic grow by almost 10% p.a. over the past ten years.
Under the contract, ADP will be in charge of the design, construction, operation, maintenance and financing of Viru Viru International Airport, including existing infrastructure and extensions required during the contract's 30-year duration.
