Arkema: plans to acquire Fixatti
(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema has announced its plans to acquire Fixatti, a company specialising in high-performance thermobonding adhesive powders, in a deal that will enable its subsidiary Bostik to strengthen its global offer of hotmelt adhesive solutions for niche industrial applications.
Fixatti has two sites in Europe and one in China, employs 180 people and has sales of around 55 million euros. It will contribute to Arkema's aim to increasing the EBITDA margin of adhesives segment to 16% by 2024.
This deal, whose financial terms were not specified, is expected to be complete in Q4 2020, subject to approval from the competition authorities of the countries concerned.
