EDF: nuclear projects with Ansaldo and Edison
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announced on Monday the signing of a letter of intent with Edison, Ansaldo Energia and Ansaldo Nucleare to collaborate on the development of new nuclear power in Europe and promoting its dissemination, particularly in Italy, over the long term.
This cooperation aims to take advantage of the specific expertise of the four signatories in order to evaluate the possibilities of industrial cooperation for the development of nuclear energy in Europe, and in particular in the field of small modular reactors.
EDF aims to promote international partnerships to deploy a range of nuclear technologies to help Europe achieve its net zero objectives.
