EDF: cancels final 2019 dividend payment, AGM behind closed
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced that in order to respond to the challenges of solidarity and responsibility imposed by the current situation, its board of directors has decided to propose not to pay a final dividend for the 2019 financial year.
The electricity producer says that its interim dividend of 0.15 euro was paid on 17 December. It will not propose any additional dividend payment on top of this.
The board has also decided to hold its AGM behind closed doors at its headquarters on 7 May. To participate, shareholders are invited to vote by post or give a proxy to the chairman of the meeting - either by post or electronically.
