EDF: planned squeeze-out filed on Futuren
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole CIB, acting on behalf of EDF Renouveables and EDF Energies Nouvelles Belgium, has filed with the AMF a buyout offer followed by a squeeze-out on FUTUREN shares.
The co-initiators irrevocably undertake to acquire, at a price of 1.15 euro per share, all 26,396,416 Futuren shares not held by them, i.e. 9.50% of the capital and 9.64% of the voting rights of this renewable energy company.
They intend to acquire securities on the market before the offer is opened, up to 7,918,924 shares, based on an order made at the offer price, and will solicit at the end of the closing of the offer the implementation of a squeeze-out.
