EDF: announces several agreements in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Last night, on the official visit of President Xi Jinping in France, EDF announced signing several agreements with Chinese partners.
On the one hand, the French nuclear power group will take a stake, the size of which has not been specified in the offshore wind farms of Dongtai IV and V, north of Shanghai. This will represent a cumulative installed capacity of 500 MW by 2021. At present, EDF operates over 310 MW of wind and solar capacity in China.
On the other hand, with the local energy company Huadian, EDF has reached a cooperation agreement to optimise the performance of the district heating and cooling network of Wuhan City in central China.
