EDF: in talks to acquire Luxel group
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF Renewables announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of Luxel Group, an independent solar power company in France with a gross capacity of about 1GWc.
A preliminary agreement has been concluded, before reaching a final agreement. Through this acquisition, the energy group aims to provide give itself with additional means to implement its Solar Plan.
Luxel has total facilities of nearly 90 MWc gross, operates around 130 MWc and has a portfolio of projects in development amounting to about 900 MWc. It employs about 40 specialists working at six branches and its headquarters in Hérault.
