EDF: completes Flamanville EPR test phase
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced completing, on 6 January 2018, the so-called "cold" functional test phase for the Flamanville EPR.
This step is part of all tests, which began in Q1 2017, which check and test the operation of all the EPR systems.
EDF is now preparing the so-called "hot" functional testing, which will start in July 2018. These tests will help to demonstrate that the plant is working well, by testing components with temperature and pressure levels similar to operating conditions.
