EDF: continues to lose many clients.

(CercleFinance.com) - According to BFM Business, EDF is struggling to keep its clients: the electro-nuclear power group has lost another 298,000 clients in Q3, it announced, after losing 286,000 over Q2 2017.
This brings it to a total of almost two million clients lost over the past two years.

It should be noted that there are now an increasing number of competitors in the electricity market in France: Total, the oil giant, moved into this market two months ago, with lower rates. It appears that Total is winning over about 1,000 clients per day.

This is also the case for Cdiscount, a subsidiary of Casino, while Orange is studying the case - as Free has, although Xavier Niel's telecom group appears to have abandoned the idea, due to insufficient profitability. BFM Business has also said that backstage at EDF, it has even heard that Leclerc could also step into the arena.
