EDF: EDF EN continues to develop in India.
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF Energies Nouvelles is continuing its development in renewable energy in India with the commissioning of three solar power plants.
With a cumulative power of 87 MWp, the three new photovoltaic plants cover the annual energy needs of 120,000 Indian households. They add to the Group's solar operating capacities in India, which now stand at 207 MWp.
Two of the three plants are located in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. The third plant is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The three photovoltaic installations benefit from a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with local grid operators.
