EDF: takeover of Futuren finalised.
(CercleFinance.com) - In accordance with the agreement reached on 10 May with the majority shareholders of Futuren, EDF Energies Nouvelles has announced that on 9 June it acquired 67.
2% of this electricity producer which generates from renewable resources.
Futuren's board of directors has therefore taken note of the resignations of the directors Michel Meus, Fady Khallouf and Jérôme Louvet, and has co-opted Bruno Fyot, who will also take on the role as board chairman, alongside Denis Rouhier and Bénédicte Gendry.
EDF Energies Nouvelles will soon file with the AMF a simplified tender offer for all of the remaining shares and bonds at a price of 1.15 euro per share and 9.37 euros in a coupon detached by the convertible bond.
