Eutelstat: selected by stargroup in Mexico
(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelstat Communications has announced that StarGroup, a provider of telecommunications and entertainment services in Mexico, has once again selected it for StarTV, its direct-to-home (DTH) pay-TV service.
StarTV, which has been operating since 2016 using Eutelsat's resources, will continue to provide coverage of Mexico from the 117° West orbital position.
By teaming up with Eutelsat, StarTV has chosen satellite to offer a nationwide service. Five years later, the platform's audience will have grown eightfold, reaching 250,000 subscribers by 2020.
