Eutelsat: signs E100m agreement with GSA
(CercleFinance.com) - The European GNSS Agency (GSA) has selected Eutelsat Communications to develop, integrate and operate its next-generation EGNOS GEO-4 service.
The agreement signed between Eutelsat and the GSA is worth a of 100 million euros, of which 85 million euros is subject to confirmation of the funds allocated by the European Union to the EGNOS program over the period 2021-2027. It is for a period of 15 years.
"EGNOS is the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service that acts as an augmentation service to global positioning systems, to improve the reliability of positioning information," it said.
