Eutelsat: two new contracts
(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat Communications announces the signing of a new multi-year agreement with Gogo, a provider of broadband connectivity products and services, to meet the demand for in-flight connectivity services.
With this agreement, Gogo acquires HTS (High Throughput Satellite) multibeam capabilities provided by the Eutelsat 10B satellite, ordered from Thales Alenia Space that are scheduled for launch in 2022, to cover Europe and the Middle East.
Eutelsat Communications also announces that it has signed a letter of agreement with Thales Alenia Space concerning the order of Eutelsat 10B, an all-electric satellite that will be backed by the Spacebus NEO platform, with a scheduled launch in 2022.
Its mission will be to ensure the continuity of Eutelsat 10A's missions while supporting the development of the group's activities in the field of connectivity on board aircraft and boats, thanks to two new innovative HTS payloads.
