(CercleFinance.com) - Ahead of the IOT Solutions World Congress, which opens tomorrow in Barcelona, Eutelsat Communications announces the launch of a new satellite connectivity service in the Internet of Things (IoT) called "Eutelsat IoT FIRST".
The companies covered by this service include satellite service providers, telecommunications operators and IoT service providers. It offers rates comparable to IoT services based on cellular networks.
The service is currently devoted to the connectivity of fixed equipment. Eutelsat will expand its IoT service portfolio next year to integrate mobile connectivity.
