Alstom: delivers 10 trains to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has delivered to the SNCF and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region the first Coradia Polyvalent Régiolis regional trainsets.
These trainsets are the first of a 10-train Léman Express option exercise financed by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
Comprising four carriages, they offer a total capacity of 204 seats with a "peri-urban" type interior layout and a high level of comfort.
To date, 387 Coradia Polyvalent trains have been ordered under the contract awarded to Alstom by SNCF in October 2009, including 326 Coradia Polyvalent for Régiolis and 61 Coradia Liner.
