Alstom: signs E430m contract for Marseille's Metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom will ensure the renewal and automation of Marseille's Metro in a contract worth 430 million euros.
Alstom will develop, provide and install the operating system and automatic pilot equipment of both lines of the network.
The group will also commission service 38 new Metro trains (4 carriages) and will modernise all the audio-visual information media at stations. The new trains are set to be used from 2024.
