Alstom: pens contract of over E260m in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Alstom announced that it has signed a contract with TMB (Transport Metropolitans de Barcelona) for the supply of 42 Metropolis trains.
These trains are intended to replace those currently circulating on lines 1 and 3 of the metro of the Catalan capital. The contract is worth over 260 million euros.
"The contract includes the design, manufacturing and commissioning of the trains. The five-car trains will be manufactured in Alstom's Barcelona site and delivered to TMB within two and a half years," Alstom said.
