Alstom: unveils first vehicle of Aptis series
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom says that, from today it will showcase the first production vehicle of its electric bus Aptis at the Rencontres Nationales du Transport Public (RNTP), trade fair, which is being held in Nantes until 3 October.
After the four prototypes that have travelled the roads of many French and European cities for two years, this new design incorporates feedback from passengers and transport operators, Alstom says.
This first production vehicle is based on an optimised global architecture that requires fewer spare parts references, while greatly facilitating maintenance operations.
