Alstom: signs contract with Deutsche Bahn
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has been selected by Deutsche Bahn AG to upgrade 17 ICE3 international high-speed trains with its Atlas ETCS embedded system.
The contract is worth over 30 million euros.
This order includes the development, design, manufacture and integration of ETCS into existing national protection systems.
The new train control system will be integrated into the wagon control technology, in collaboration with the train manufacturer.
