Alstom: Bouygues reduces stake
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues, has announced the sale of 29,150,000 Alstom shares (i.
e. 13.0% of its equity capital) at a price of 37 euros each (meaning a total of 1,079 million euros), through accelerated book building for institutional investors.
After this sale, Bouygues will still be the largest shareholder of the rail equipment maker, with 14.7% of Alstom's share capital. Olivier Bouygues and the company Bouygues SA maintain their terms as directors.
The conglomerate says that it has pledged to maintain its remaining stake in Alstom for 180 days to banks in charge of the placement, subject to exceptions laid down.
